A nostalgic Christmas set with a vintage beige Chevy as the centrepiece, surrounded by a beautiful Balsam Hill fir tree and rich tones of burgundy, gold and green.

Christmas at the Coastal Cottage
Saturday 14th & Saturday 21st November | Ashgrove
Christmas at the Coastal Cottage is back with a brand-new look for 2026, featuring a beautiful colour palette designed by Mel with tones of burgundy, gold and pink.
We’ll begin by capturing some photos together by the Christmas tree before you choose your own little Christmas activity.
Will you curl up together in the bedroom for some Christmas story time, or head into the kitchen to pretend to bake some festive cookies?
Designed to feel relaxed, playful and full of those little moments that make Christmas so special, these sessions are perfect for families who want photos that feel natural and fun, with plenty of room for the kids to just be kids.
A little extra Christmas magic
Before your session, there’ll be a special spot for the little ones to sit down and write their very own letter to Santa. Once they’re finished, they can post it straight into Santa’s mailbox. And the best part? Santa writes back! Not only does this help make the whole experience feel more magical for your little ones, but I find it’s a great way to warm them up before their session starts and allows them to get used to the space.

Additional images purchased after the session are $20 each, 3 for $50, or the entire gallery for $150.

To secure your session, a $100 non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 7 days before your session date.
